Even today, establishing an equilibrium and maintaining a balance are among the most difficult tasks of the Swiss National Bank. The swing in the light court balances two open attaché cases placed at opposite ends of a wooden board. One of the attaché cases is filled with one million francs in 100-franc bills, just like in the movies. From the other attaché case a luxuriant vegetation sprouts and grows in all directions.
